Most stormtrooper artworks only feature one character, since they are always on the battlefield, and there’s a lot of things going on in the background. The number of details that you need to focus on can be overwhelming for beginner colorists.

Of course, one stormtrooper can be so lonely in an artwork. If you’re up to the challenge, there are other coloring pages that feature action-packed stills. Here’s a livelier stormtrooper picture to color during a relaxing day.

A great color concept for this photo is to make it a bit more flashy and upbeat. It’s also a good opportunity to improve your color palette. If there’s a Baby Yoda art in the middle, that will surely take this artwork to the next level.

7. Lego Stormtroopers

One of the most popular custom lego pieces is Star Wars characters, especially Darth Vader and an army of Stormtroopers. But you don’t have to own a lego set to enjoy the lego character designs.

Here’s a photo of lego stormtroopers, with R2 D2 in the middle. With the space in the background, those who can add more characters will have a lot of freedom to make their own Star Wars lego version character designs.

8. Troopers following Captain’s Orders

If you want to color artwork with a bit more details, here’s a coloring page for you. In this photo, a group of Stormtrooper is ready to battle other enemies. They are just awaiting the orders from their captain.

Since stormtroopers are white, adding color to a more detailed artwork can be a pain in the neck. It is a difficult yet rewarding challenge, nonetheless.

9. Clone Trooper Captain

Almost all stormtroopers wear armor with only using the white-gray-black combination. However, their ascendants might’ve had a bit more fashion sense. Clone trooper captains sport some white-black-red color palette, making them look more different than the usual clone trooper. (And no, these troopers are not the dual blaster-wielding Advanced Recon Commando or Arc Trooper.)

10. Field Trooper Practice Shooting

Here’s a coloring page of a field trooper practicing his aim. It’s a classic pose for stormtroopers who specialize in long-range combat. Field troopers have a wide range of weapons under disposal, but their main ones are the E-11 blaster rifles. The mastery of their weapons makes these higher-ranking stormtroopers deadlier on the battlefield.

Final Thoughts

As inconvenient and impractical it might be, most stormtrooper variants use white armor primarily. This style decision has been a uniform occurrence in the series, as it signifies the unit’s solidarity and easy distinction. However, it’s also one of the reasons why coloring these characters might be difficult.

Coloring stormtroopers is a great way to work and improve your shading skills. You can also improve your sense of environment scale and blend the background properly. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, you might want to design a new stormtrooper armor color. Either way, enjoy the coloring experience and share your work with your friends.
