It seemed like when I was young, there weren’t really any cool crafts for teens. I mean, I honestly don’t remember doing any. I mean, I can’t get the images of weird 70’s projects out of my head: masking tape all over jars that we then smeared shoe polish on, candle wax poured in sand holes to make earthy candles, it’s all too much to mentally revisit.
Today’s teens are obviously much more cool, creative, and savvy than we were. Lucky dorks. Here are 20 crafts for teens for them (you) -all of us- to ogle over and hopefully then make.

Pretty little pearl hairpins. Is it just me, or do you also want to wear like a hundred of these in your hair every day?
DIY oatmeal honey face scrub. Oatmeal and honey are classic natural skin beautifiers, and you can see how far you can stick your tongue out to taste your face.

Crisscross ribbon lampshade. Lampshades are boring otherwise.

Geometric wall photo display – I’m in love with this, and I’m also in love with the bright hallway.
Try out some basic hand lettering. (Even I managed to do this.)
Nail polish marbelized mugs – aren’t these dreamy?
Twisted headband from an old t-shirt – this one takes some sewing, but it’s very basic, and you could hand-stitch it if you don’t have a machine.
Deck out yer ugly old boring stupid dumb door with tape in really cool patterns.
