Liza Sherman I Love You

As I was innocently yet jauntily meandering through the streets of NY with Christian, I was keeping an eyeball open for some interesting places. Boom. This place certainly fit the bill. I get all crazy googly-eyed and gape-mouthed when I see industrial antiques, and this joint was swimming in them. Liza Sherman Antiques.

Look at the floor! Look at the tin ceiling! look at the wooden eggs!

Look at the blue metal shelving unit!

Lookit! Look at the bench!

OOOOH!

When I Giggled her, I found this blurb on Apartment Therapy, which doesn’t look at all like the shop we saw.

This is a write-up about her New York apartment. If I lived there, I would feel anxious and shaky, but I do really like certain elements.

For some reason, I found it hilarious that she had only 2 Yelp reviews, both of which were scathing. Those crazy antiques dealers!

Her site is worth a visit, though- there’s more good stuff to covet at lizashermanantiques.com.

I love those wooden eggs! I bet you and I could do some serious shopping damage.

Those are some seriously awesome antiques, but…if I lived in that apartment I'd be crazy too. "MY KINGDOM FOR A CLEAN SURFACE!"

Amazing find. I dream of having the kind of bank account that would allow walking into those kind of places and buy anything I want. Perhaps one day.
