Yum yum yum PB&J Smoothie recipe. Gotta love healthy smoothies that don't taste that way!

First off, I’d like to admit that if I ever see something that is NOT a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but is “PB&J flavored”, I run the other way. So I’m either being completely hypocritical here, or I’ve had my eyes opened to the fact that the iconic flavor combination can actually taste amazing in something other than a sammich.

In fact, I just made this smoothie recipe up on a whim one day, fell in love with it, slurped it down so fast I had a throat freeze for 5 minutes, and was struck by how much it tasted like a cold, freaking delicious version of peanut butter and jelly.

Plus- bonus- there’s no bread so you weirdo gluten-free people can partake. And you carb-haters can join in. And we can all have a smoothie party and sing and dance and shimmy all over the place. P.S. Don’t tell anyone there’s spinach in it.

Cherry peanut butter smoothie recipe

I made this in my Nutribullet, which is the best thing I’ve ever bought, so the recipe might not make a ton of sense if you’re using something else, or trying to make smoothies for more than 1 person.

Recipe:

Fill half the Nutribullet cup with spinach

Add 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter

1 teaspoon chia seeds

Frozen cherries to the Max line

Unsweetened plain almond milk to the fill line

Whir it up!
