Diet Coke Gets all Artsy

Just a quick post today because I saw that today Diet Coke is launching a new campaign called, “It’s Mine”.  I like this for two reasons:

  1. Anything that encourages not sharing is good in my book.
  2. Their bottles are being printed in MILLIONS of different designs.

I’m one of those dorks who geeks out on retail packaging, and this is just kind of cool, right? Diet Coke came up with base designs inspired by all the fizzy bubbly goodness, and then they worked with HP to make sure the labels printed are all one of a kind.

Questions to ponder: Do you find this as cool as I do? Will computers and printers finally replace all those pesky artists? What kind of sorcery is this?

Here is what they look like:

If you want to see a little video of how they are printed, you can click here, and if you watch it, see if you think the little Diet Coke bottles look like people. They’re kind of cute.

Okay, bye bye.

I love these cute little bottles.
Of course I love them mostly because Diet Coke reminds me of the first time I ever met you.
