giveaway stuff for Craftwhack's new site

I don’t even know if I should bother to explain *this* time why I changed my blog’s name. It’s a cute and endearing habit, right? And not at all indicative of me having a yo yo brain.

The kind of cool thing is that some of you told me you would miss the name Tiny Rotten Peanuts, and others of you said you like Craftwhack. It made me think about how this blog is not just for me, and how I’m not writing and sharing things in a bubble, as much as it feels like that sometimes.

It also made me think about how long I’ve been blogging, and how much my blog has evolved. Strangely, in some ways it has come full circle (like the name Craftwhack, which is the name of my very first blog!) In other ways, I’ve expanded and tried lots of new things in a quest to find what suits me the best here, as well as what you all will be interested in reading.

And I’m SUPER CURIOUS as to what you like about my blog. That’s it. I have that one question for you: what keeps you coming back and reading?

In order to bribe the answer out of you, as well as celebrate my new blog design and name, I’ve created a supercool giveaway that, if you like art supplies, you will love. I put together a box full of cool supplies from Target, based on decorating your own journal covers (like I did in this post), but you can go way out crazy awesome creative art-o-riffic if you want.

Here’s what’s in the box:

Thanks Pam! I’m NOT excited about the cold weather. But, yes, that means more time indoors for making stuff…

I was wondering when someone would call me out on that! I woke up this morning and realized my horrible mistake, felt like a dumbhead, and then just waited for the first person to correct me. ๐Ÿ™‚ HA!

Change the name as often as you want – you’re still the same great YOU, and I’ll still keep reading your great blog!

Your blog is always a highlight of my Sunday morning. I chuckle at your creative writing. I’m always surprised with the clever craft ideas you find & post. Your list of favorite things has often lead me to try somethingy that I might not have tried before. This is a fun blog. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, LindyLu! You’re so sweet- I’m glad to be able to provide some sort of creative inspiration; it’s more fun to share it than keep it all to myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

Congrats! I like either name, so it’s a win-win to me. Anyway, I really like the project ideas and how you spotlight and your writing “technique”. It’s very interesting and I look forward to getting your email and reading the blog!

Both names are good; Craftwhack is catchier. I will read your blog no matter what you decide to call it, though.

Well, that is good news all around- I guess Craftwhack is catchier, so that’s a big bonus. Maybe it will get stuck in peoples’ heads. ๐Ÿ™‚

You are my favorite thing about your blog, no matter what its name is. Now come on over here and let’s grab a coffee.
    And a doughnut.
    Or five.

5 doughnuts and coffee sound freaking amazing, and so does some time spent with you, pumpkin head. Let’s have a play date!

Your blog is excellent because when I am reading it, I actually feel as though you are having a real conversation with me. No I am not hearing voices ? just that your writing voice is clear, down to earth, and expresses your true kindness of sharing who you are and that you love what you do. You have a gift and I appreciate you sharing it!
