It occurred to me some time ago that I have been blogging for 7 years, and that makes me a blogging genius. Actually, I know some people who have been blogging for a year or 2 who are killing it, with zillions of rabid fans and traffic coming out of their eyeholes, and they are far more savvy than I am.
BUT! I make a lot of mistakes. I try a lot of things because of my inability to leave anything well alone. Themes, hosts, photo editing, affiliate companies, plugins – you name it, I’ve tried it. I’m obsessed with learning new things about blogging, and my ultimate happy place is smack in the middle of a blogging conference, where the information and business cards are flying, your cheeks hurt from smiling, and your brain is seeping out through your ear from information overload.
So, I decided to gather up a bunch of things I’ve learned about blogging and compile it all into a resource page as the best of the best. Or at least what I use and am happy with. In some cases, like the email newsletter, there are definitely other options that are just as good. For instance, I use MailChimp, and love them, but I’ve heard great things about Mad Mimi and Aweber as well.
Go ahead and peruse through the blogging resources list, and let me know if you have questions or suggestions for something I may have forgotten. Actually, I just remembered Fiverr! Off to add them…
